  • In regards to a proposed project that C.E.S. submitted to the
    Illinois Department of Transportation they responded:

    • "I was very impressed with the way the subdivision lots have been laid out to avoid floodway encroachment. This is certainly how we would like to see all subdivision proposals that entail floodplain development. In fact, we intend to copy a portion of your submittal for use in our regulatory and National Flood Insurance Program workshops as a model proposal."
